2020 has been a strange year. After the surreal quietness comes the new normal, how have we adapted it so far? New restrictions, no restrictions; new variants, no vaccination. These two years have brought out the best and worst in ourselves and the others. We are interested in works that do not define right and wrong but echo the peace and fear; the calmness and confusion we have been experiencing. 

 

"UrbanSonics" is looking for:

1. Sound art and recordings made during the pandemic (no visual)

 

and

​

2. Tunes and music videos recorded during or related to the pandemic

​

Please do note that works contain fascist, xenophobic, homophobic content and hateful opinion on vax/no-vax will not be considered. 

​

Deadline:  15 March 2022

​

Number of entries: 2 per category; email us if you are submitting more than 2 works

​

Files: send links to works for application and digital files via email, dropbox or wetransfer only after confirmation

​

Dates: artists will be notified within 2-3 weeks after the entry is closed.  Opening of the online show will be in May, date to be confirmed
